Mummy transformations join the squad in METAL SLUG 2, SNK's 1998 run-and-gun sequel. Fiolina Germi arrives, new vehicles roll in, and a Wii release later reissued that Neo Geo game.
Getting hit by the wrong projectile turns a soldier into a mummy or a slower, heavier form, which is the joke the first slug did not tell. The tank is still the shelter, and the transformations are the risk of standing in the wrong sparkle.
SNK's second slug is the one with those curses. The Wii reissue is that Neo Geo board, not a new mission set drawn for the remote.
