History

Capcom's courtroom debut Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney first shipped on the Game Boy Advance in Japan during 2001, with Phoenix objecting through testimony. The Nintendo DS version that traveled worldwide adds a bonus case and touch-screen evidence.

You press a witness, find the contradiction, and present the right document from the court record. Maya Fey assists Phoenix while Miles Edgeworth tries to close the trial in a guilty verdict.

Wii and Nintendo 3DS releases later carried those cases onward. The bonus DS episode is the piece that separates the worldwide touch-screen release from the original Japanese script.
