History

The third Ace Attorney casebook, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Trials and Tribulations, debuted on the Game Boy Advance in Japan during 2004, with Godot's mask waiting in court. DS, Wii, and Nintendo 3DS releases later carried those trials onward.

Godot prosecutes with coffee and a mask, while the story reaches back into Mia Fey's past. Dahlia Hawthorne's scheme ties the cases into one long grudge rather than three unrelated clients.

Presenting evidence still means catching the lie in a testimony. The later ports keep that Japan-first script, mask, coffee, and all.
