Aparoid queens are the threat in Star Fox Assault (2005), the campaign Nintendo and Namco sent Fox back to after Star Fox Adventures left the series on dinosaur-back. Arwing flights and on-foot shooting share the missions, and this is the GameCube entry, not Star Fox 64.
Krystal, Falco, Slippy, and Peppy are in the squadron again, and the on-foot sections are the piece Adventures did not fly. Sauria's dinosaur chapter is the previous game; the Aparoids are this one's invasion.
Tricky the dinosaur belongs to the previous adventure. Namco's boots-on-the-ground guns share the Aparoid war with the Arwing, which is the campaign people mean when they are not asking for the 64 remix.
