History

Larger stages mark the home half of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Eight fighters on one television need the larger stage. Bandai Namco, Sora Ltd., and Nintendo shipped it as the television partner to a 3DS version, and the Wii U stages use the extra screen space.

The pair arrived in 2014. Ultimate's physics are a later argument. Eight-player brawls and the bigger stage list belong on this console edition, while the 3DS cartridge is a separate page and Ultimate on Switch is a later game with its own physics and roster.

Amiibo fighters and the stage builder use the Wii U hardware. A Final Destination match here is not the handheld's smaller take on the same idea.
