History

Radio briefings name the suspect in Chase H.Q., Taito's arcade drive about ramming a car before the timer expires. Nancy's dispatch sets the target, and the bumper has to wreck the fleeing vehicle while the clock still has time.

Taito's cabinet dates to 1988, and traffic is only an obstacle. The win condition is wrecking the suspect's car before the timer expires.

Home ports include an NES edition of that ram-the-suspect structure. The radio briefing and the crashing finish are the coin-op's identity, kept on the home board.
