History

Kevin McCallister wires the house against Harry and Marv in Home Alone, the NES license Bethesda Softworks developed for THQ. Traps in the hallways and on the stairs are the weapons, and the burglars are the Wet Bandits from the film.

The 1991 cartridge keeps Kevin inside that booby-trapped house. Items picked up in one room become the next gag when a burglar steps on the right tile.

The Super Nintendo release is a separate production from another team, with its own rooms. The NES cart is Bethesda's version of the house, not a shared design copied onto the later machine.
