Goemon pilots the giant robot Impact on a musical stage in Konami's Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (1997) already. Fans still quote that robot concert, and the rest of the quest is a 3D wander through a fantastic Japan with Ebisumaru in tow.
The United States release followed the Japanese Ganbare Goemon cart. Impact's stage is a rhythm fight, while towns hide jokes, meals, and a castle that would not fit a straight brawler.
A later side-view sequel is a different shape. This cartridge is the 3D Goemon, the robot, and the song.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
The series list above is the whole family set in this catalog.
