Blaze Fielding and Axel Stone lead Sega's Genesis brawler Streets of Rage 2, usually ranked as the high point of that trilogy. The 1992 game was later reissued on Virtual Console for Wii and 3DS.
Weapons on the pavement, a cooperative partner, and Yuzo Koshiro's driving soundtrack mark the sequel fans put above the first and third outings. The Virtual Console reissues on Wii and 3DS brought that Genesis high point back.
It is not a new brawler with a modern camera. The reissues are the Genesis game on those Virtual Console shops.
