History

Woody crosses rendered dioramas in Toy Story (1995), the platformer Traveller's Tales built from the Pixar film. Super Nintendo and Genesis editions share those pre-rendered rooms, while the Game Boy cart is a separate, smaller tie-in.

Andy's bedroom, Sid's mutant toys, and the moving van each become a stage built around Woody's pull-string attack. The backgrounds were painted to resemble the film's sets, an unusual look for a licensed hop on those consoles.

A stage select keeps the film's order from Andy's room onward. Players who only held the Game Boy edition met a shorter, different version of Woody's trip.
