Paul Cuisset led Delphine's Flashback: The Quest for Identity, a cinematic trek about an amnesiac named Conrad. Rotoscoped running and a holocube of lost memory set the tone after the studio's Another World.
Conrad wakes in a jungle in 1992 and pieces together a ticket back to Titan. Shields, a pistol, and ledge grabs are one-shot precise, and a wrong landing restarts the screen.
The game was strongest on computers and the Genesis. The Super Nintendo edition tells Conrad's same memory hunt with its own limits on how smooth that rotoscoped run feels.
