Parkour on floating continents replaces a pure sprint, and Sonic Lost World is Sonic Team's successor-console game about the Lost Hex. Running on the underside of a Lost Hex tube is the camera trick the Deadly Six stages keep repeating.
The Deadly Six have hijacked the animals, and Wisps still offer temporary powers. Curved tube stages let the hedgehog run on the underside of a world, which is the camera trick the ground levels keep using.
The 2013 handheld version uses its own stages rather than a shrunk copy of those tubes. Both tell the same kidnapping of the creature energy, with different geometry under the shoes.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
