An opossum with a jet pack and a sword stars in Sparkster, Konami's Super Nintendo Rocket Knight game from 1994. He dashes on the pack, rebounds, and cuts with the blade. The Genesis cartridge that uses the same name, from the same era, is a different design.
Rocket Knight is his role, not a second hero standing next to him. Stages are side-view speed courses, and the pack is both travel and attack. The sword covers the space the burst does not.
Konami did not ship one identical layout on both 16-bit machines. Bosses and level ideas on the Super Nintendo diverge from the Genesis design. Treat the two as siblings rather than as a matched pair.
The pack's burst is the move to master, because distance and damage both come out of it. The armored opossum is the only lead. Super Nintendo bursts and sword routes are this layout, not the Genesis one.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
None in this catalog yet.
No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
First developer on the RAWG card: Konami Digital Entertainment.
