Ravio rents items while Link merges into a wall painting in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Nintendo's 2013 adventure revisits the shape of A Link to the Past, then lets Link move along walls.
Lorule mirrors Hyrule, and a merge into a crack bypasses a gap that the old top-down sword swing could not cross. The rental shop means the item set is borrowed rather than found once and kept forever.
The Nintendo 3DS eShop has since closed, so the wall-merge quest does not imply a storefront still selling it. It remains the 3DS Zelda that paints Link onto the wall.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
