Knocking the pink hero into enemies lowers the stroke count in Kirby's Dream Course (1994), HAL's miniature-golf game. Japan first called this Super Nintendo game Kirby Bowl.
The hole appears only after the enemies on the green are cleared, and a copied ability from the last foe can change the next shot. Wind, a bump, and a star block turn a putt into a puzzle with a par.
Kirby Bowl is the name on the Japanese box. The Western title points at the golf stance, with the same enemy-as-cup rule underneath.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
