History

Kirby's Dream Land gives the newcomer inhale, spit, and float, with no copy ability yet. HAL Laboratory and Nintendo shipped this first Kirby game on Game Boy in 1992, across five short lands, before Adventure added copy powers.

Whispy Woods and King Dedede wait at the ends of those brief trips. A mint leaf turns Kirby into a puff that crosses a long gap, the power this cartridge offers instead of a stolen move.

Kirby's Adventure on the NES is where an inhaled enemy becomes a sword or a flame. Dream Land on the Game Boy is the earlier float through five lands.
