History

General Computer Corporation built Ms. Pac-Man for Midway, giving the hero a bow and mazes that wander. Ghosts still chase, but the walls change from round to round instead of repeating one fixed board.

It followed Pac-Man in the early 1980s and was not a Namco design. Bouncing fruit, four roaming layouts, and the bow are the sequel's own additions.

Nintendo ports on the NES, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy arrived much later. Those cartridges inherit Midway's shifting mazes rather than a Namco blueprint.
