History
A torch burns down while you stand still in Shadowgate Classic. ICOM's 1987 MacVenture is the point-and-click castle adventure that later traveled to many home computers and handhelds, and the flame is a clock.
Examine, open, and use apply to a skull, a bridge, and a warlock lord who must not be allowed to summon his beast. Click the wrong fixture and the castle kills you outright, which made the guide a companion people kept beside the keyboard.
The windowed verbs are the same MacVenture language as the Chicago mystery from the same studio. Here the rooms are stone, the light is finite, and the warlock is the reason to hurry.
