Midenhall's prince sets out with two cousins in Dragon Quest II (1987), Enix's quest drawn by Akira Toriyama and scored by Koichi Sugiyama. The prince of Cannock and the princess of Moonbrooke join him, so the party is a family rather than a hired band of strangers.
