Propeller mushrooms lift four players at once in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Nintendo's 2009 side-scroller with a midair spin carried over from the handheld idea of 2D Mario. Penguin suits, Yoshi on some maps, and a Super Guide that can finish a stage you keep failing all sit on the world map.
It stands in the New Super Mario Bros. line between the dual-screen original and the later Wii U game. Simultaneous play means a friend can grab you, help you, or knock you into a pit on purpose.
