Stacked enemies vanish in matched pairs while a dinosaur hatches underneath in Yoshi, Nintendo's puzzle sold in Japan under an egg title. Mario shuffles the falling Goombas and Bloopers so a pair lines up, and the egg at the bottom cracks into Yoshi.
The puzzle appeared on the NES and Game Boy. Yoshi no Tamago, the egg title, is the Japanese name for the same stacking.
Nintendo released it in 1991, and the hatching dinosaur under the stack is the prize. Pair-clearing is the toy, not a side-view ride through a Yoshi stage.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
