Omega looms over Mega Man Zero 3, the Dark Elf corrupts the field, and Doctor Weil is the one pulling strings. Inti Creates developed the chapter and Capcom published it on the Game Boy Advance in 2004. Cyber-elves can now be set as satellites that stay equipped, instead of existing only as offerings for a permanent boost.
Weil binds Omega, a massive reploid tied to the corrupted Mother Elf, to a scheme larger than the Resistance's last internal break. Saber and dash remain Zero's body language, yet the elf menu asks different questions than it did under Elpizo. A satellite modifies him and remains present, which changes how hard the game pushes a sacrifice.
The splinter-faction crisis is over, and the final war's stealing knuckle and selectable weather are not here yet. Stages belong to Weil's manipulation and to Omega's presence on the map. Inti Creates uses that threat to justify the revised elves and another climb in what the bosses demand.
Capcom shipped a middle chapter with its own villain and its own elf rules. The Dark Elf's ruin and Weil's planning are the history this cartridge tells. The loadout you carry into the fight is part of how Zero stands in front of Omega.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
